Columbine Country Club

Remodel and renovation of the three luxurious dining areas, capable of feeding approximately 200 individuals.  Design of a new full service kitchen.  Addition of a new “Cheers” type of bar and dining area.  Modifications and additions to the air handling systems, grease hood ventilation, plumbing, etc.

The Redfish Restaurant and Brewpub

A new restaurant on the Boulder Mall,, featuring New Orleans cuisine and on site micro-brewed beer.  The entire mechanical and plumbing systems in this turn of the century building was renovated.  Indirect / direct evaporative cooling systems were installed for energy efficiency.  The restaurant has a prep kitchen, full kitchen, full bar, wait station, and a dining area and a pool area.  The mechanical systems for the brewing process were also designed including a steam boiler and chiller.

The Wyncoop Brewery

Study and design for replacement of the cooling systems for the first microbrewery in Colorado.  Its proximity to the baseball field in lower downtown Denver, has resulted in enormous popularity.  People loads in excess of 1500 individuals have created large ventilation and cooling loads.  The study and design solved their problems.  Indirect / direct evaporative systems were utilized.

University Center, University of Northern Colorado

In order to convert the kitchen from its 100% electric configuration to natural gas, a mechanical and electrical design was done.  Natural gas lines were extended to the future appliances and the system was tied into the emergency Ansul system to lock out the gas in the event of a fire.  The 480 volt circuits were removed and new 120 volt circuits were added to serve the equipment.

Darley Commons, University of Colorado at Boulder

Design for the installation of an automatic dishwashing system in Darley Commons.  Darley Commons serves Williams Village which is the largest student housing complex on the  Boulder campus.  It is very visible when you enter  the city.   Installation of the dishwashing system involved expansion of the kitchen into the dining room,  and extensive changes to the plumbing, steam and HVAC systems.

Eagles Nest Clubhouse, Silverthorne, Colorado

Mechanical/electrical design of destination golf resort clubhouse.  Includes restaurant, bar, locker rooms, sporting goods store, swimming pools, and Jacuzzi.  It was designed to be used as a Nordic Ski Center during the winter months.  Innovative mechanical design utilizing moun­tain stream ponds for chilled water, heat recovery on swimming pool cooling system.
