In depth studies of the Federal buildings in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Utah were performed. The purpose of the studies was to determine the condition of the historic buildings and to make recommendations and cost estimates for funding so that the buildings could be renovated to serve an additional 20 years. Architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical consultants were involved in this in depth study.
