Crabb and Candelaria Hall
Study and recommendations of the mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for a Program Plan for procurement of State funds.
Lawrenson Hall Chiller Replacement
Design of a new central chilled water plant (280 tons high temperature hot water) and a new condenser water storage system. The project had a fast track design and construction schedule. This 15 story building was used by the Denver Broncos for summer practice in Greeley.
Ross Hall Chiller Replacement
Replacement of two old Servel absorption chillers with a new scroll type air cooled chiller. Routing of piping from the basement to the roof. Other items included the exhausting of a demonstration fume hood and the rebuilding of an outside air intake for a 35,000 CFM 100% outside air handling unit
Norton Theater Renovation in Grey Hall
Design and installation of a cooling system for this old theater on campus.
University Center Chiller Replacement
Design of a new central chilled water plant (450 tons high temperature hot water) and a new condenser water storage system. Because of the “land locked” existing plant, a new building was constructed and tie-in occurred through a tunnel system. The project had a fast track design and construction schedule.
Cross Connection Backflow Prevention Program
Study and implementation of a cross connection backflow prevention program for all state funded buildings on campus. Protection of the main water supply system was done with a containment approach. Individual protection for users was also done throughout. Approximately $1,500,000 construction cost.
