The Plaza Hotel dates back to the 1880’s when Las Vegas was an important commercial center on the Santa Fe trail. The adjacent Ilfeld building was restored and connected to the Plaza Hotel. The building added guestrooms, and other hotel functions. A complete new mechanical system was designed which includes water source heat pumps with a boiler and cooling tower.
